The Garden at Michael's Folly

Fabrizia's atmospheric organic garden

Fabrizia's love for plants is equal to her love for dance and yoga. All her life she has tended the 2.5 acres of enchanting country garden, orchard, vegetable kitchen garden, natural pond, earth labyrinth, goat paddock, and bluebell woods, in which her Strawbale Dance Studio now stands. Other unique structures include The Yurt and The Ark and Tessa Verrecchia's fused glass studio. Hertfordshire Life magazine wrote a lovely article 'Nature To Nurture' about her approach to gardening.

Open Gardens

You can visit the gardens at Michael's Folly each summer, alternating each year between Red Cross Open Gardens and NGS Open Gardens (as featured in articles in St. Albans Life and The Financial Times), this year from 2-5pm on Sunday 3rd September 2017, when the wonderful Occasional Strings will be providing the live music. Admission £3.50, children free.

Michael's Folly lies between the county town Hertford and Potters Bar, close to London yet situated in an idyllic rural setting.

"Thank you for sharing your beautiful spiritual garden on Sunday. We had a wonderful afternoon - enjoyed every step we took meandering through your magical space. Sending peace and joy." - Susan Taylor

The Labyrinth

This Labyrinth was recently dug in the woods behind The Strawbale Studio and makes a tranquil spot for contemplation amidst nature, walking calmly around the maze of paths to reach the centre.
